"On the 16 October 1983, Alan Hampton's dream and vision, the creation of the NEC was officially opened by R A Dutton Esq, Chairman of Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association. In conjunction with the opening, the very first competition was held and it was Show Jumping. The very first rider to jump at NEC was Dana Rutherford riding Gazelle. Today we commemorate the 40th anniversary on Sunday during the Labour Weekend Carnival. "
Two full days of Show Hunter and Show Jumping across 5 arenas. Levels from Grand Prix down to 70cm show jumping and Open Horse HOYQ down to 50cm pony jumping! Classes for everyone.
