SHOWING CONDITIONS
The RAS Judges & Competitors Rule book (see www.ras.org.nz) sets out all the conditions that apply to the classes and sections offered.

Where there are 1 to 3 entries - 1st only placing paid out.
4 to 6 entries - 1st & 2nd placing paid out.
7 or more entries - full prize money
RAS Rulebook - GR 4. HATS and SAFETY HELMETS
a) In all cases current WorkSafe New Zealand rules prevail.
b) All riders, including harness drivers/with the exclusion of heavy horse (Clydesdale) working classes, competing at RAS affiliated A&P Shows/Events must wear protective headgear, which includes a retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points. Such headgear must be worn with the chinstrap properly adjusted and fastened when in the arena or ring, the practice area, collecting rings or anywhere else within a Showgrounds or the grounds of an affiliated Event.
c) Hats/helmets must conform with one of the current approved safety standards. These standards may be subject to change but the latest list can be found at http://www.ras.org.nz – equestrian. RAS will advise any changes via their website and Facebook.
d) All hats/helmets that conform as per c) must be identified by the current tag system implemented by NZPCA, ESNZ and RAS.
All horses & ponies in the showing section must wear assigned bridle/backnumbers with the exception of Adult Riding Classes and Pleasure Horse.
· This show is a HOY Qualifier for Pony, Led Sport Horse, Pleasure, Hack and Saddle Hunter Sections.
· Novice Horses or Ponies not to have won more than 6 wins in A & P events.
· Adults may ride novice ponies in novice classes only
· RAS Height Certificates and Novice Performance cards must be carried at all times.
· You may only enter Show Hack/ Show pony class or Saddle Hunter horse/Saddle Hunter pony class. You may not enter both.
All Showing Section entry fees include the $1.15 per class RAS levy.
