Online Entry

Welcome to the Northland Secondary Schools Athletics Championships 2020.

We are inviting you to discover a new way to enter online where you can see your students in the events entered and follow results afterwards. You will get an immediate confirmation by email to show what you have entered as will the Event Manager. This eliminates the tedium of filling in forms by hand, scanning and emailing or trusting in snail mail. Best of all, the students that you enter this year will be available to pick from a drop list for next year and all results related to individual students over time will be online.

Main-Events.com is a NZ company based in the Wairarapa that is traditionally known for working in the equestrian sphere but is now moving into other sports in ongoing development over the next year. They welcome your feedback on this process.

Before you start

Before you start, we advise that you have on paper the names of students and the events they intend to participate in. You will be asked for each student's name, date of birth, gender, year level and whether they are Para or AWD so make sure your list includes this info.

There are three main groups of competitors reflecting the standard age groups of Junior, Intermediate and Senior. The online process will ask you to pick a category group, specify your school and then each student - one by one - who is then entered into their individual events - eg long jump, shot put, 100m race etc. You simply tick to select the events for each.

There is no fee for this entry - the schools will be invoiced after the event.

Login and Password

We have pre-registered a login and password for each school. The login is available from Heather Deane at Northland Sport or from the Main-Events support team above. The login is generic to each school so that next year, a new Person Responsible can use the same login keeping all school related entries in one place. You can change the password at any stage.

By applying to enter Northland Regional SS Sport Competition/s in 2020 run under the banner of NSSSA, it is understood that the school will agree to abide by the playing conditions and decisions of the organisers. It is taken that a school representative involved with students entered in an event has read and understood the relevant Safety Action Plan. It hereby releases the sponsors, their members or agents and any officials connected with this event from all liability for injuries or damages whatsoever arising from the school’s participation or presence in this competition. Release is inclusive of photographs and moving pictures of the competition.
