OPEN GYMKHANA/SHOW 2019 - CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. All riders and spectators enter the grounds at their own risk.
2. NO DOGS whatsoever on the grounds including in vehicles. Instant elimination will apply to the competitor and their family if a dog is brought onto the grounds.
3. Ground Levy $3 per mount and First aid and WRC (Wellington Regional Council) rider levy $5 per rider.
4. No refunds unless the gymkhana is cancelled.
5. All horse poo, rubbish and hay must be picked up and removed from the grounds
6. The club reserves the right to alter the prizes based on the number of entries to any event. If less than 8 entries – no 3rd prize money and less than 5 entries no 2nd and 3rd prize money.
7. Cancellations to be posted on the Sportsground Makara Pony Club website on the day of the show.
8. **A Maiden is a horse or pony that has not won a Maiden class at a show or gymkhana with current or previous rider.
9. Riders and mounts entering the beginner’s jumping classes (201/202) are not eligible to enter any other jumping event. These classes are open to horses and ponies.
10. Riders may NOT be led in any jumping class
11. Combinations entering the beginners jumping must not have won a 1st prize in that height jumping event at any open gymkhana or show, (eg if you have won a 1st in a 50cm jump you cannot enter that class or lower.)
12. Riders may only enter a maximum of three (3) jumping classes for the day – across ring 1 or 2.
13. Objections must be made in writing and lodged with the show secretary accompanied by $20.
14. All entries via Main-events. Entries close Wednesday 20th November. Payment must be made at the time of entry and no entries will be accepted without payment. Absolutely NO email or postal entries accepted.
15. No Flat Class Entries will be taken on the day.
16. Jumping Entries on the day will be accepted with an additional 50% surcharge and will start first.
