IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Riders must adhere to the rules of the show and the rules of the Horowhenua A P & I Association at all times.
No Entry to the Grounds before the day of the show unless prior arrangement. ALL Decisions are at the discretion of the Show organizer and Judges.
GREEN HORSE RING- GREEN HORSES/PONIES ONLY must be in their first season of competition and must not have won a champion in any ribbon day or open show. RED & BLUE RINGS WALK AND TROT ONLY. Under 18 riders by arrangement only please. These are green HORSE rings NOT green rider.
CONFIDENCE RIDER RING – Green and/or nervous riders ONLY. The PURPLE & ORANGE rings are designed to give those who are unable to canter in open areas exposure to showing without the pressure. WALK AND TROT ONLY. These rings will be a first in first served basis. Due to the nature of these rings we will be cutting entries off at 12. If we receive enough interest for this we will make rings bigger in future.
Recreational pleasure 18+ has been added at the request of the public. These classes are designed for the NON COMPETITIVE adult rider who only goes to limited shows each season and is not generally competitive in show pleasure classes.
ADULTS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME ON PONIES AND UNDER 17S ON HORSES
NOVICE 0-5 WINS FROM WINS AT ANY SPORTS DAY, OPEN SHOW OR A&P.
