INSTRUCTIONS

You must nominate EACH horse for at least ONE of the series you intend to compete in. Provided you include yourself as the RIDER when selecting a horse for a series, you do not need to nominate yourself specifically for the RIDER based series.

The aim is to get the horse and rider into the system with up to date information. If you decide later in the season to do another series that you don't specify now - you DO NOT need to go through this process again as the horse is in the Leaderboard system.

You will be asked to confirm the breed type. colour, gender, DOB, sire, dam, sire of dam, breeders and owners of each horse - this is required for the AGE SERIES and while not a pre-requisite to competing in the other series, it helps announcers with your horse profile. Please have on hand before you start.

HORSE AND RIDER PROFILES

You will also be asked to provide a short profile (couple of sentences for an announcer) for both rider and horse so please have this in mind as you go through the online entry process. You can update this information using steps outlined next.

UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION

The information specified above will be available to anyone looking at the leaderboards and classes associated. If you need to correct the information, start another online entry and put in the correct information.

TIPS FOR FOLLOWING THE LEADERBOARDS

To view the Leaderboard standings, from the CLASSES drop list, choose the HORSE/PONY or the RIDER Leaderboard as appropriate. By default, the order is sorted on horse or rider depending on the leaderboard type. Click on the column heading PLACING to view in sequence with the points earned.

To view more detail about the horse or rider, click on the name. The form that pops up shows you more information about the horse and rider; and also ALL the series classes they competed in over the season. You can click on the class name and a new form appears to show you the full class list including horses that did not earn points.

You can also click on the blue button at the top right to view the FULL MAIN-EVENTS.COM PROFILE for the horse or rider which may include a photo!

ADD PHOTO FOR HORSE & RIDER

Consider adding a photo of yourself and your horse from your MY PROFILE area just under the login. Click on COMPETITORS tab, then click on the name of the horse or rider and in the upper right of the screen, click on EDIT PHOTO.
