We are a group of Year 12 students from Havelock North. We are all from an agricultural background, and wanted to support an issue that was close to our hearts.We have chosen to su pport Farmstrong, a rural mental health organisation that works to educate farmers about significant mental health issues including suicide. Rural Suicide has had a huge impact on Hawkes Bay in the past two years, and with recent funding cuts in the sector we can’t think of a better organisation to support.
To do this, we will be running a quiz night at the Puketapu School Hall on August the 11th. Enter in teams of 6, with a live auction and guest speaker. Please come and support this great cause, that means so much to Hawkes Bay and New Zealand.
