Dressage Phase starts at 0830 both days, gates open at 0700hrs

By submitting your entry online, you agree that you have made yourself aware of the
Conditions of Entry and the Identified Hazards & Risk. Both can be found under the
documents tab on the Event details page of Main-event.com.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. This event is run under ESNZ Eventing Rules & NZPCA rules (Annex 5)
2. Riders ride at their own risk – Rakaia Pony Club accept no responsibility for
injury, loss or damage to property, horse/pony, rider or spectator.
3. An approved helmet must be worn at all times whilst mounted, this helmet
must have a RED sticker and be presented when collecting back numbers.
4. Dressage Phase – No whips allowed, spurs may be worn.
5. Gear check – Compulsory for all phases 65 & 80cm, compulsory for Cross
Country phase only for 95cm, 105cm & 110cm subject to random inspection
for all phases.
6. Back Protectors are compulsory for the cross-country phase.
7. Riders must wear correct attire for all phases (Annex 5)
8. Back numbers will be supplied for 65cm & 80cm classes. Printed numbers will
be supplied for classes 95cm & above. PLEAR BRING YOU OWN BACK
NUMBER HOLDER.
9. CONCUSSION RULE – any rider who has suffered a concussion within 21
days of the competition may not compete.
10. Refunds of 75% – request in writing must be received within 7 days of event
to be considered.
11. Protests must be made in writing, accompanied by a $30 fee and be lodged
within 30 minutes of result being posted. The Fee will be refunded if protest
upheld.
12. Disciplinary action will be taken if any breach of the NZPCA Code of Conduct
occurs, also any breach under the Eventing rules of Dangerous riding (Art
639) and Abuse of Horse (Art 640)
13. No Dogs allowed.
14. Unmounted Prize Giving will be held 30 minutes after the results are posted
(providing there are no protests) Prizes not collected on the day will be
forfeited.
15. Please take RUBBISH with you when you leave the event and clear Manure
from float area.
16. Event Programme and any cancellation/info will be available on the (NZPCA)
Ashburton Pony Club website and /or the Rakaia Facebook page. No
programmes will be available on the day.
