The Wairarapa Showjumping Group is pleased to have been selected to host the ESNZ Jumping Series Grand Final Show for 2015 in association with our new show Glistening Waters Showjumping Championships. The Awards dinner will be happening on the Saturday night after the final rounds.
This is a NEW show at a new time for our group and one which we hope will grow in popularity over the coming years.
We are holding the final competitions for all the Series classes on the Friday and Saturday but have extended the show by one day to bring in lower grades and appeal to the local riders.
One innovation we are pleased to introduce is the concept of big prize money for three lower level classes that have to be qualified over the two days of the Series Classes. But once qualified, competitors start again with a clean slate.
We have made a huge effort with this show to make it attractive to keep your horses in work after the Horse of the Year Show with a view to extending the season - something we should all be looking to do.
