CatWalk Trust To Benefit from RWTS
Monday, 1 February 2016

Riding With The Stars organisers didn’t have to think twice when choosing a charity to align with.

Event manager Andrew Hansen says the synergies between RWTS and the CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust are clear for all to see.

A portion of all ticket sales from the February 12-13 shows will go directly to CatWalk.

“We are proud to work with CatWalk to help their cause, as well as promoting equestrian in New Zealand in a new and innovative way,” says Hansen. “For Equine Productions, RWTS is the start of a new journey for equestrian in New Zealand and we look forward to making sure the CatWalk Trust is part of the new journey with us.”

CatWalk has a very clear aim – to enable spinal cord injury sufferers to walk again. The Trust funds research to find a cure for spinal cord injury.

“We want people out of wheelchairs and back on their feet,” says CatWalk Founder Catriona Williams. “We get such strong support from the equestrian community and industry, and this is another fabulous example of that. We are really delighted and feel quite privileged that Andrew came to us. Riding with the Stars is a brand new and innovative event for New Zealand and just the start of an exciting partnership for us and them.”
