Kiwi SJ 2nd in Million Dollar GP in New York

<p style="margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; "><strong>Californian based Kiwi Duncan McFarlane and his lovely big Hanoverian showjumper Mr Whoopy have finished second in the Pfizer $1million grand prix in New York this morning (Monday NZ time).<br></strong></span><br></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"">McFarlane and Andre Thieme (GER) aboard Aragon Rouet were the only two through to the jump-off from the 44 starters. <br><br></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"">McFarlane threw everything at it and while he notched the fastest time of the two – 1.35 seconds faster – he paid for his speed with two rails.<br><br></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"">It was a star-studded line-up including former Olympians and champs, and McFarlane pockets $US200,000 for his efforts.<br><br></span></p>
