2021 Winter Olympics - Entries on the day will be taken

Welcome to the 2021 Winter Olympics!
Thursday, 22 April 2021

There are two entranceways:
-1075 Porangahau Rd, this area best suits riders competing in the lower levels.
-1101 Porangahau Rd, is more suitable for the trucks and upper level riders.
- please park sensibly to allow plenty of room for others.

For all those who have entered (and paid), you will have a complimentary Riders Pack waiting at the AON tent, for collection. Some Riders Packs are available for others who are quick to enter on the day. These packs contain lots of goodies from our sponsors, we are so lucky to have their support.

Our secretary is located in the Sloans Saddlery blue tent, where any late entries and changes can be made.

Don’t miss the Dannevirke Hunt’s Secondhand Shop- feel free to drop off any unwanted horse gear or grab a bargain!

There will be a BBQ lunch and snacks available, along with coffee. And dont miss the other guest trade stands and even a bouncy castle.

Toilets are located in the Woolshed and there is a portaloo near the Cowboy area.

To all those riders entered in the Cowboy Challenge; The course will be open for walking at 8- 8.30am. There will be a chance to watch it ridden by the judge and any questions can be answered. There is a new start time of 8.30am, due to the large number of entries.

Following the Cowboy championship rounds and prize giving, scheduled for 12-1, don’t miss the lolly scramble in the Cowboy area. And at the conclusion of these activities, there will be an opportunity to have a $5 training session (pay cash at the gate) where you can have more practice and guidance over this fun course.

All rings will run off blackboard order and hopefully there will be plenty of friendly volunteers around- who will be happy to help or point you in the right direction. Just sing out if you need help.

And please please take a moment to thank all our kind sponsors. Oh and don’t forget to have fun!

Thanks for coming, cheers from Claire and the Winter Olympic crew.
