Imake A Difference World Cup Show
Friday, 28 November 2014
The Show Jumping World Cup Final hosted by Show Jumping Waitemata is to be held on 10-11 January 2015 at Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre, Auckland, where we expect to see around 550 horses and their riders attend! This is no doubt going to be a stunner event, one that no Show Jumper will want to miss this season. Prize money has been increased across the board and we have 11 dress rugs up for grabs. A new partnership with Country TV means that the event will also be televised. Imake Ltd is sponsoring the event for 2015 and is linking its love of animals to help fundraise for the charity Imake a Difference. This charitable trust’s focus is on saving the Rhino from poaching for their horn, and there will be many opportunities to donate over the weekend and you’ll be sure to see some great new jumps some emblazoned with Rhino! Ring decoration will be the area we are focusing on this season and this will extend to all rings. The weekend will be a fantastic family outing. The event caters for all levels of jumping from beginners through to World Cup level. The event has six competition rings (four Show Jumping and two Show Hunter). Saturday afternoon's main event is the Continental Cars 1.35 - 1.40 metre classic with $1000 up for grabs for the winner. The evening Speed Championship will also be one not to miss, starting at 7:00 PM. Saturdays evening’s entertainment will include a band.
