Gordon extends Bell Tea Super League Lead
Tuesday, 30 April 2013

Following the Sydney CCI3* at the weekend, Simon Gordon has extended his lead in the Bell Tea Super League on Fletch.com, having added qualifying points for completing the event in seventh place.

Bryce Newman on Bates Trademark, eighth, and Donna Smith on Balmoral Tangolooma, ninth, likewise added qualifying points to their totals, Smith moving into sixth position in the League as a result.

The Super League class at Woodhill Sands, Helensville, at the weekend, was cancelled due to lack of entries, but the Central Districts event at Pukemarama, near Foxton, this coming weekend, has picked up the mantle with their Advanced class attracting ten entries, including one from the South Island.

This event now hosts the penultimate Bell Tea Super League class, with the year long series finishing at the NRM CCI3* at Taupo on 17-19 May.
