NRM New Sponsors for Horse of the Year Show

The corks are popping at Horse of the Year headquarters with the news that long-time equine supporter NRM is the new naming rights sponsor for the 2014 show.

In announcing the three year partnership, HOY show director Kevin Hansen welcomed NRM to the top tier of sponsorship.

“We’ve been working hard for the past three years to get a naming rights sponsor, and it’s been tough out there,” he said, “but this is a really good partnership between one of the biggest equestrian celebrations in the Southern Hemisphere and a well-recognised equine brand.”

That was reiterated by NRM national sales manager Glen Pedersen.

“This is an exciting relationship for us all,” he said. “It’s important for us that we are connected with the right industry partnerships – and the Horse of the Year Show is one of those. This is a fantastic event for NRM to be involved with.”
NRM has been involved with the Horse of the Year Show for some time and is also heavily involved with the racing industry.

“We are firmly committed to the equine industry.”

NRM has long been part of the New Zealand rural tapestry, supplying bulk and bagged feed for all sorts of farm animals for more than 120 years.

The NRM Horse of the Year Show runs from March 18-23, 2014 at the Hawke’s Bay Showgrounds.
